The primary objective of a Business Development Manager is to bring onboard new customers.

Responsibilities (Tasks associated with the Role)

  • Develop growth strategies and plans, by identifying and mapping company strengths and customer demand.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers.
  • Write business proposals and present these to potential and existing customers for signature
  • Coordinate with the specialists whenever a new opportunity is introduced by an existing client
  • Learn and be trained about NetSuite to understand the product for better articulation
  • Document SOPs and build systems to continuously improve business development practices
  • Network with other consultants to build inventory of skills for future opportunities
  • Research prospects, cold email, build rapport and schedule conference calls with potential customers and respond to incoming inquiries to increase client base
  • Follow NetSuite industry trends locally and internationally.

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Must have prior experience selling software and consulting services engagements
  • Develop growth strategies and plans, by identifying and mapping company strengths and customer demand.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail, time management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
